What do you sleep in?

Seeing as this is the fourm for all things sexual, and thus also many things corporeal, I thought I'd just out of curiosity ask what poeple's prefered night garments are.

Personally, I've recently (that is, the last two or three days) started sleeping naked, for several reasons, but previously I've slept in my underwear (t-shirts don't count as underwear) ever since I outgrew my last set of pyjamas.

Underwear or naked, depending on mood.

Re: What do you sleep in?

Always nude.  Have done since I was a child.  I can't get to sleep if I'm wearing anything. I feel too constricted. (Good idea for a thread incidentaly Nowaysis).

Thank you kindly. smile

Interesting point about the constriction by the way. It just so happens to be the very reason I have always prefered wearing at least pants (Br. Eng.). I felt that if I wasn't wearing anything at all, things we're just flapping around all willy nilly, and I had to take extra care to make sure everything was in a nice and comfortable position whenever I rolled over.

Not to make mountains out of molehills, but I have always been a bit of a control freak, so that might have something to do with it. big_smile

Myself, in panties (this has been a nice bonus since moving out of my parents' place!).  I agree, I find it quite difficult to sleep with clothing on, I feel as if I'm getting all tangled up in everything.  And I love to sleep burrowed under the covers with nothing but my face poking out, and the addition of clothing to the sheets always makes me feel like I'm in a straightjacket.

After lovemaking, though, always in the nude for obvious reasons--(especially since, in the morning, when my boyfriend wakes up and rolls over to find me naked, it always seems to get things going again... and I love morning sex smile)

Oh yes.  I agree about the morning sex.  Especialy when time is not an option.  That cosy, languid, bed-warm, half drowsy feeling. Lots of very slow gentle fore-play. (Sometimes only-play. On occassions it's a shame to break the mood with anything as vigorous as intercourse).

Anyway, back to night attire.  Another great thing about sleeping naked is satin sheets.  Especialy on a hot summers night.  That feel of the cool satin against your naked flesh when you first get into bed.  Sooooooooooooooo sensual.

Some of us don't have much trouble with stuff flapping around sad.

Re: What do you sleep in?

PJs.  I have cats who have a tendancy to randomly savage me in the night.  There's no way I'd ever sleep naked.  In fact, kevlar armour looks kinda tempting.

When my cats were kittens they had a tendency to pounce on anything moving with needle kitten claws. One time I forgot to ensure the door was firmly shut before engaging in sex. We both got pounced on...

My wife and I have cats as well. They'd also terrorize our toes when they were kittens. Now, they're like logs stretched out between us.

Kep them out of the bedroom.  All of my cats have been trained to know that the bedroom is a no-go area.

Re: What do you sleep in?

I'm all about self seduction and proper timing.  I'll use regular pj's if I know I'm going to have a busy morning and have to get rolling when the alarm clock goes off.  But if I know I can sleep in...it's all shifty slidy silks to entice me from sleep into sensation.

Re: What do you sleep in?

I like this theory ssmithford, it depends on the situation, temperature, who's in the bed, how you're feeling and what may be happening in the morning. Just like what I choose to wear in the morning depends on all these things (coulour included) - what I'm going to do that day, whether I'm feeling extroverted, calm, energetic... If if I'm sleeping with someone though I almost always prefer naked, nothing beats the sensation of skin on skin for me, even if it's the slight brush of a bum on a back as you momentarily drift in and out of sleep during the night, that feeling is sure to send me back to sleep with a smile on my face. There's something about just wearing undies to bed too... comfy and colourful cotton ones, I find them to be quite condusive to self seduction.

Re: What do you sleep in?

I'm pretty much the same as Bobby when it comes to bed attire. And I LOVE my Peter Alexander PJs I just bought - dark brown PJ pants adorned with the prettiest pink cherry blossoms (my fave flower), worn with a matching singlet top - it's all about co-ordinating when it comes to PJs and underwear imho!

Although the problem with wearing zip in summer is if you live in a share house with boys (who aren't your boyfriend) and you make a quick dash to the loo in the middle of the night only to find your timing coincided with one of your housemates resulting in a bit of an embarassing situation, some squeaing and a quick dash back to your respective bedrooms! Happened more than once too, but it's something I still laugh about! And I always wondered if it wasn't a ~total~ mistake on his behalf... wink

Re: What do you sleep in?

hahah Phexy I have been so caught by my flatmate many years ago, I mooned him big time getting up to tell my dog to be quiet....... now I just do it to my new neighbors on the hill..(I'm still getting use to my neighbors being so close) although no police have come around yet wink
I am a naked sleeper if that isn't clear, unless it's really really cold or if my partner isn't in bed and I miss his body heat ...........he is so abused
or if I really really do not feel like mucking around and it's my signal......to not even bother trying...of course that doesn't always seem to matter and you don't exactly have to break my arm sooooooo
how do you like my really really's??
Night all or have a good day whichever it may be smile

Re: What do you sleep in?

I fall asleep in whatever I pass out in.  If there's someone else there, it's usually nothing, and if there's not, it's usually my boots and some jeans.  On the floor next to the heater.  Then I wake up at 4 am and think, 'oh, I should get some work done and go to bed', and then I write some emails.

Re: What do you sleep in?

there is nothing like the brisk naked walk to the bathroom in the morning. i'm also into an early autumn/winter morning glass of water, the dichotomy between one's body being warm and the water being cold is quite the sensation as it rolls down one's oesophagus. those things, those are the things during which i feel most alive : )

See those are the things I think I hate most about winter. Any brisk naked walks to the bathroom in the morning for me are usually accompanied by some sort of dissatisfied whining. I don't eat nearly as much fruit in the winter, not because it's out of season but because it's cold! If I were god I'd make is so it were always 30 degrees and snow was just something we read about in fairy tales.

It's been probably 15 years since the last time I wore any clothes to bed.
