that was excellent. I hear lots of young women identifying the cultural conditioning of internalisation as a form of oppression, which is in itself a step towards breaking the cycle.

Mmm what a good first thing you said.

This is the boy who started Button poetry. I am so proud of him. Who knew, a real living from poetry? He is also the first boy who told me I was beautiful when I had no idea what that meant.

This poem is really intense but really good and I think you'll like it, it's about oppression, Rumi, Tupac and Jesus.
