I have to admit I got stopped a couple of weeks ago by a cop on a bicycle who asked me to stop riding my bicycle on the pavement.  He said it's an £8 fine or £500 if it goes to court but that only happens if you repeat offend. I said you don't scare me copper and flashed my bicycle gang sign. No I didn't :)  I got let off with a caution and he was a really nice bloke :)
