I think the show is total crap myself but it's watched by millions of kids and a woman Doctor Who would be so good for their brains, especially the little girls who could feel their not a sidekick to somebody else, but feel a little bit more like they play the lead role in their own lives. Quite an impoertant psychological pointer when your growing up.
