How horrible to even suggest telling children (some of whom are gay) about same sex attraction, is in some way offensive.

Yeah it's hideous. I have a friend from Moscow who hates it when he's away, but falls into the lull of familiarity, language, and family when he's there. He's just recently come back to Melbourne and misses Moscow, but his big life project atm is a movie script about homosexuality.

This is where it hits home for me. He can't write that at home. He can't even write about gay guys. what the fucking fuck.

But hey, this is like, small fry denial of liberties in Russia. They can't do anything counter-societal without the immediate threat and reality of violence, democracy is a joke, Putin is absolutely insane. As my best friend is half Russian and lived there for years, sometimes we talk about it, but really there's not much to say. She's happy to be here. If you think your country is bad, just look to mother russia.

I wouldn't ever go to Russia. You never know how much radio active contamination there is anywhere or lethal chemicals all mistakes from coruption, and many people just think it's funny and also a few people who definitely shouldn't, get drunk at work. That's what I was told by a Russian student I met on a gay forum in 2005. I liked her, she's one of the 1st people I met on the internet. She said she had an English teacher who asked the class what they would do if a teacher touched them inapropriately and she put up her hand and said she'd fuck him
