Google watch

It'll be interesting to see how quickly IFM gains a presence on the net, as a comparison BA registers 70,300 hits on Google after just over two years in existence.

March 19th 2006 - 151 mentions (hardly any of them to do with this site it seems)

I checked out Google too looking to see if the Premium level preview had been posted on any other sites in the hopes that I might be able to download it.  I didn’t find it but I learnt a lot about online fantasy role playing.

Of course not Richard.  I was looking for quite legitimate IFM commercials and I would'nt have had to do it at all if you had inserted a download link on the premium level preview. It's youre own fault if I've been unfaithfull smile.

Richard, Liandra, and Max must have been burning the midnight oil submitting IFM to dozens of link sites methinks. Good work, people!

No, never done that.  Hopefully the Squad is doing its thing.  The funny thing is, signups have actually fallen pretty steadily since the first week's rush.  Our reviews haven't been great, but it seems those sites, which have been built on the mainstream porn industry, just don't get what we're about.

That is intensely annoying. Are people really that much into shallow exploitation? I suppose they must be, considering the plastic sheen of the women who are considered "beauty queens" these days.

I hope you're doing alright, though. What's the current IFM status, if that's not too impertinent a question?

I get the impression that the industry is very conservative.  That would explain the tons of almost identical garbage being churned out by the LA porn factories.  I think with a site like this growth is bound to be slow.  But word will get round eventualy.  Possibly on blogs and forums such as this. I get four or five emails a month from people who have checked out the site or from subscribers to other GMbill sites asking for my opinion of IFM and I'm sure that I am not the only one.  People will come Ray.  People will most definatley come.

Don't you mean, 'People will most definitely cum', Elfman? wink

You're completely correct about the conservative nature of the adult industry at present, and the almost entirely negative LA influence upon it. Hmmm, that gives me an idea for another thread........

Re: Google watch

No kidding. Liandra, Max, Richard -- I was imagining a staff meeting of you and ten or so other people, where you are just in awe of what you're created, and you're happily working to get it perfect before the chattering masses all converge on it.

Come September, I will be shouting about IFM from the mountaintops.

Re: Google watch

oooh, I just happened on this post.

Well, APPARENTLY I've started earlier than my stated start date, as I have a meeting at 3 pm about this very topic. Rickard, what is the most effective and timely way to communicate with you and whoever else the marketing/mgmnt team is? I sent an email out yesterday but am thinking it went into the box of kudos and love paeans and might not be read for some time, given that the stack is so high. . . .

Ahem... I've just discovered that posts from this forum are archived on Google, and someone (by accident) managed to trace a post by me here. God knows what else he read!  A bit embarassing.

Hi Elfman, I'm one of those people you speak of. I came from AW and in truth, I'd be a member of any of the GMBill sites. Their top notch in every respect as far as I'm concerned. I had been toying with the idea of joining one of the other ones before coming to IFM but I never could quite do it for some reason. When I came to IFM for the first time, the quality of the videos, together with the girls, of course, made it a no brainer for me.

I think as time goes on the membership will build as the content builds.

Hey, Bish, again with the opaque signatures! Whazzamaddawitchoo? (Still too many "Sopranos" episodes lying like mulch over my brain, I'm afraid.)
