To be honest I was hoping for you to say something along those lines but wanted to make sure since I do have this frustrating tendency to veer off topic, as you will have noted. It happens in relationship talks as well. Not sure whether this is enough to put me in the bad boyfriend column, though I can assure you I have enough additional flaws to qualify. Anyway, if I ramble too much elsewhere do go ahead and tell me off.

Words – I can totally relate to that and hey, if you get turned on both by dirty words and “good girl” then your partner sure has a wide range of vocabulary to choose from to make you happy!! For me, what’s even more important than specific words is voice – this is definitely another fetish of mine. Part of why I was attracted to my partner in the first place is that she has a really beautiful deep voice - I’m not into high and squeaky - and in bed that will seriously turn me on. By the way, this is also one of the kicks I get out of watching IFM stuff (Georgia L. Need I say more? That deep, full voice, paired with the sweetest Australian accent ever. I don’t even need to look at the screen, just listen to her talk. I want her to read me a sexy story. Or she could just tell me about how she walked her dogs in the park and my heart rate would still go through the roof. Make her do a diary one day. Please.)

Eclipses – it’s a mind-altering experience, isn’t it? And so very humbling. Lucky you for having caught the US eclipse! I actually almost flew over just to see it but ended up finding it too much of an expense. But you’re right, everybody should get a chance to witness one at least once in their lives. (As a public service to anybody reading this, here are the next total solar eclipses: 4/8/24 – US and Canada, 8/12/26 and 8/2/27 – Spain, 7/22/28 – Australia and NZ)

Another dream of mine, though likely futile, would be to one day see the Earth from space. There used to be a series on German TV called ‘Space Night’ – you can find it on YouTube – which I would sometimes watch for hours (particularly after consumption of certain hemp products, but that’s another story). It’s basically a continuous film shot from a satellite circling the planet, accompanied by chilly Ambient music which is also available on CD. The covers of these CDs are lined with quotes from actual astronauts talking about their experience onboard their spacecrafts. Here’s one of my favorites: “On day one, everyone pointed to their own country. On day three and four, everyone pointed to their continent. From day five onwards, we stopped paying attention even to continents. All we saw was the Earth as one, whole planet.“ It’s not only a heart-warming quote but it also puts so much of what’s happening in our daily live in perspective and makes it feel almost trivial.

Then again, I certainly don’t mind focusing on what’s sitting right before me once in a while, especially when it’s one of my favorite lovely ladies of IFM doing her thing.

I think there's an iceland eclipse happening one day - my friends and I are hoping to get together for it. can you imagine, daytime aurora AND total eclipse? would be just epic.

Conversations are like trees... it's their job to branch off from where they started!

a total eclipse of the sun is something that I think every human on this earth should have the chance to observe. They're rare, and location determined, so not every human will, which is a damn shame. I saw one in 2018 in Portland, Oregon, a full 2 minute duration of totality. It shook me to my bones. I never realised how attached I am to our sun until it was blotted out. The sky being predictable, the sun shining even behind clouds, daytime being day time, evening being evening - I took these things for granted in the most thoroughly integral way. The way the evening descended, just like that - the shadows which lengthened and then grew strange, the immediate chill, the hush of wildlife - it was absolutely uncanny. I cannot wait until my next one.

I think this may have come up here before, but in any case I can report that I saw a total eclipse in 1970 (... I was a kid then ...), in northeastern USA, and it was amazing. The conditions were perfect, and we had *7* minutes of totality. The most amazing thing was the moon's shadow racing across the ground, and then *bam* the stars came out, and the black disk of the moon with fire streaming out behind it. Uncanny is right! Hope to see one again some day.

Actually, "Lately, when I'm wanking alone, my favourite way to come is to stretch out my legs and imagine a gallery of IFM members watching me, just beyond a screen just in front of me. I really like the position in 'perched'. I'd love to be positioned opposite a woman doing the same thing (I'm a guy). I might ask my partner if I get brave enough.
