Hey Everyone!

I've been a long time fan of the site and its natural & raw approach to female pleasure.

In that vein, I've been a huge proponent of the pleasure potential of electro stimulation, sometimes called e-stim. Most people recoil in horror at first with the thought of putting electrodes downstairs but with the right setup the feelings are sublime. Having done it for nearly 15 years I can say without question I've had some of the most intense orgasms ever while using it. Most people have the wrong impression, it's not some BDSM shocking pain thing at all (though it can be if desired). With the right equipment you can hook right into the pleasure nerves in your body and send signals that feel like a variable speed vibrator, rolling waves, tapping, squeezing, stroking, etc. The posibilites are endless.

Anyways, if anyone wants to ask questions about it and how it all works I'd be glad to fill people in. It truly is amazing being able to control your pleasure hands free at the twist of a knob.

E-stim is feels like being able to put a vibrator inside your body. It all depends on how you setup the electrodes. Imagine having a metal electrode such as an njoy pure wand inside your vagina against your g-spot. Then you'd place a second sticky pad electrode over your your clitoral shaft. The e-stim would travel from the vaginal electrode to the clitoral electrode stimulating the nerves in the path between them. If you think of the anatomy you can reach with this technique the ideas are pretty incredible. The fancy ones from companies like Erostek or E-Stim Systems have lots of modes, and most have 2 channels (4 electrodes) so you can have setups for say an internal electrode and external ones for your clitoris. Setting wise the most basic is a constant buzzing signal where you can adjust the power/intensity and then adjust the "speed" or frequency of the buzzing. This is like having a variable speed vibrator. Then there are pulse settings where the signal turns on and off and you can adjust the speed/length of the on/off. Finally there are modes where the signal can feel like its moving between both electrodes on a channel in waving or stroking type settings. One mode in particular on the Erostek units is "Orgasm" which is a slow power ramp up and back down that gets progressively faster, the waves coming quicker in succession and speed over about 4 minutes until they match the 0.8/sec rate of orgasmic contractions, almost taking over for your body.

There are countless arrangements of electrodes and you can get really creative. There are bi-polar (like the two poles of the electrode configuration we just talked about) internal electrodes that are designed to stimulate internally. With pulsing settings on the e-stim unit you can create a ghost-fucking sensation where the electrode causes the vaginal muscles to clench and release, moving the physical probe in and out. This works for vaginal or anal play. Another popular configuration is to use two sticky t.e.n.s. pad electrodes on either side of the labia, in line with the clitoris. This gives you lots of control for direct stimulation. The beautiful part is it can feel like the faintest of tickles to a super intense feeling. Its perfect for edging for hours on end, you can tingle your way right up to the edge and then just roll back off the power to cool down then do it again.

The craziest part of e-stim for me is the orgasms you have. Because the stimulation is so effortless and consistent, you can really test your pleasure threshold. When I'm ready to orgasm, I'll get myself to the edge and then keep the power up. The normal little arousal bump where you know an orgasm is inevitable and you're climbing to the peak is elongated with e-stim. If feels like pulling a catapult back further and further. The buildup lasts 3-5x longer than any other kind of orgasm and you're clawing at the sheets it feels so incredible. Then sometimes I'll turn the power down just a touch and I'll finally go over the hill and orgasm/ejaculate. The contractions during that orgasm are super intense. The craziest part is the e-stim signal doesn't care if you've just cum, it never gets tired. Its perfect if you're a person who can enjoy multiple orgasms as it will just keep going. Its absolutely sublime. Well worth the learning curve IMO.

I've used the ElectraStim Flick system with a lover for contactless spanking, which is really fun. With the pads on my butt, they have the control and can change the intensity of the "spank" with the force they flick their hand with. It's definitely a very different sensation than what I am used to, but I enjoy the contactless nature of it and the way it really takes me by surprise. We've also experimented with a Wartenberg Wheel E-Stim Kit and E-Stim gloves. The addition of the electric stimulation adds a whole new dimension to sensation play. I also enjoy metal plugs/dildos and anal beads with e-stim capabilities, alternating between tickles to tease, rhythmic pulses with tease even more and then the more prominent thrusting sensations I get on higher settings.

Wow this is awesome. So Mikaela, does it feel actually like electricity? I was a bit fascinated swimming to close to the electricity thingies on a special healing bath in a japanese spa once, but otherwise that electric feeling kind of freaks me out.

It's really difficult to explain in that I can't compare it to anything else, including electricity. The contactless spanks can cause me to feel tingly, then at higher can cause pain. With sensation play, it can be hard to discern, particularly with the Waternberg wheel which is already a bit prickly. It really deepens the experience though and adds so many different feels. Internally, I find it to be quite similar to an internal vibe but the sensensation is present throughout much more of my body.

Very cool Mikaela! So neat that you've had the chance to play with e-stim. I think you really hit the nail on the head about sensations in that they are so varied. In my experience relative size of the electrode and the material really makes a huge difference in how it feels. Larger surface areas spread the electricity out, while small ones (like the wartenburg wheel with its tiny metal spikes) should feel sharper and more prickly because the electricity is hitting fewer nerve endings with more intensity.

Viva, the coolest thing about e-stim is that you have this humongous range of sensations available based on the electrodes you use, the settings of the e-stim unit and the power levels you set. You can really tailor the experience from mild to super intense. Personally I prefer smooth, constant feeling signals and then I manually adjust the power to edge. in my sessions, I usually use a conductive rubber loop at the base of the penis with a second electrode that goes around the glans and over the head/urethra, think like a balloon hat, that causes the signal to travel top to bottom through the entire length of the penis. It's basically like turning your member into a tuning fork. It feels awesome and can far exceed the feeling intensity of a Hitachi magic wand. With the settings that feel like stroking, you can feel the signal at the base electrode morph up to the head electrode and back again. Its wild!

Thanks for pointing that out Richard! Violet wands are a different type of thing than more t.e.n.s. style e-stim but fun in their own way. More of the prickly, static shock type feeling.

My absolute dream IFM video would be a diary/loose end style session where someone narrates what the e-stim experience is like. What various electrodes/settings feel like, painting a picture for those who've never experienced it. Since e-stim isn't something you can see and know what's going on, a verbal narration of a play session would be incredible, particularly when the narration slowed, the breathing picked up and the arousal took over to its eventual end. If some adventurous soul (Mikela perhaps?) had their curiosity piqued and truly found e-stim a pleasurable pursuit in their personal life and saw fit to share it with us that would make for a uniquely intimate video.
