Anyone been playing anything? Have you put more hours into this hobby in recent months? Do you have a preferred system?

Ooh ooh!! YES!! I recently bought my partner a PS4 for his 30th and have been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 loads. I'd already played it on my old housemate's system but would only do so sporadically so it's nice having my own save. I love how many easter eggs and hidden things are in it. So far I've seen a UFO, a witch, and killed two legendary animals. I've also been watching my partner play Last of Us 2, and oof...too real man. But good. SO fucking good.
On my Switch I've been playing Animal Crossing but have lost some enthusiasm for it now that I have the full house upgrade and loads of money. It was my birthday recently and my lazy boi rhino best friend on my island (who is also my favourite) threw me a party and it was genuinely really touching and lovely, especially given that I couldn't have any kind of gathering in the real world. I also recently played Little Misfortune which is actually more of an interactive story than a game in the usual sense. It was so good though! Really beautiful and dark but also hilarious. Telltale's The Walking Dead The Final Season was incredible and I was so worried about it not being finished when Telltale fell apart. It exceeded my expectations though and other than the first one, it is easily my favourite in the series. Stardew Valley is still my favourite game though and while I definitely haven't played it as much as I usually would, I can't wait for the next update!
I'm going to buy Horizon Zero Dawn and Detroit Become Human soon but will tackle RDR2 and Last of Us 2 first. One epic action adventure game at a time is all I can handle, haha.
What about yourself rushaus?

Me, PC player primarily. I've played Animal Crossing, had fun with it, but lost interest due to a few reasons.
Been playing a fair amount of 7 Days To Die recently. It's a slowly-updated survival crafting game, pretty buggy at times and with no objective other than to survive, but it kinda tickles my exploration desires.
I never played the last two Telltale Walking Dead games. The second game left me feeling waaay too nihilistic
The two games I've played most (but haven't touched in a little while) are Crusader Kings II, and Rimworld. CK2 is essentially a medieval dynastic simulator with a learning curve resembling a brick wall covered in razorwire. And Rimworld is a top down colony simulator... with a learning curve resembling a brick wall covered in razorwire.
Been a while since I tackled an epic action adventure game though. Might need to look into Horizon Zero Dawn though, seems nifty.
