Grease 2 is the superior film and soundtrack. I much prefer the plot, as it involves a nerdy guy trying to impress a cool girl. I adore Michelle Pfeiffer's slightly odd singing voice and while the plot and songs are (again) just a lot of teenage boys trying to sleep with their girlfriends, there's some moments that are a lot more progressive than one would expect. The cast are perfect in their roles and definitely look a lot closer to being actual teens than they did in the first Grease. I love the Bee Gees, but The Four Tops are excellent with the opening Back to School Again track.

Also, I don't truly believe that anyone REALLY likes mushrooms. What's to like? Raw they are just a sponge and cooked they are slugs. They taste like very little, and what they DO taste like is absolute trash. That's just a straight up FACT.
Let me hear your controversial opinions please! (Obviously keep it light - no politics, racism etc).

Cheetos are better stale. Fight me.

I've been roasted for this many times, but peanut butter and tomato on toast is friggin' delicious. Same with Vegemite and avocado on toast. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hear you Viva! I feel the same way about Cheezels, and I suppose they're like Australia's circular version of Cheetos.
Ooh Piper I haven't heard of PB and tommies on toast before, but I can see how it could work. Like, not enough to try it, but in theory it seems to hold up. Also my old housemate went mental for vegemite and avo on toast and I thought he was mad but then after that I encountered a few more people that swore by it. It still seems a bit wrong though. But maybe it's so wrong it's right?

Redbird - I am so with you regarding those damn mushroom things. Honestly, cooked slugs is the BEST description I have heard in reference to the weird things (I still eat them though, health and all that haha).
Avocado is hella over-rated, the perfect amount of vegemite on toast is when you can hardly see the vegemite (think like the size of a pinhead per piece of toast), tomato sauce has no place in the world (BBQ rules), pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza.

omg I go nuts on avo vegemite toast almost every day. It's toast, butter, heaps of vegemite (sorry ur wrong mikaela), and heaps of avo AND salt. Oh god its so good.
PB and tomato - yeah I can see it. Hmm.

also sorry anti-mushroom people but I just got two boxes of super-fresh from the forest mushrooms the other day. And I got some fresh pasta from the pasta place down the road. And I made the most amazing forest mushroom, sage, tarragon, garlic cream sauce papadelle ever partaked of by mankind.............

Holy shit, thank you so much Mikaela for feeling me on the mushroom thing. I don't mind them in or on something like bolognese or pizza (in moderation) but when I was vegetarian in the mid 90's to early 2000's, pretty much the ONLY veg option in places was mushroom based, and just, no. A large mushroom is not a steak and there are more kinds of vegetarian risottos than just mushroom. I also think avocado is overrated, although I happen to like it, however it does occasionally taste like buttery soap to me. You are also correct about pineapple.

Minus the shroomies, I'm hella into that meal Viva. You're such an amazing cook though, I bet even I could handle the spongeslugs.

Blue cheese tastes as bad as it smells and Jean-Claude Van Damme is a genuinely good actor.

The only worthwhile Dire Straits albums are the first two (but they rock, especially the second (Communiqué)). After that, feh.

The only jazz worth listening to is Dixie stuff.

Mushrooms taste vaguely sweet to me, so they're a no from me captain.

That's a totally fair opinion to have. I'm a big fan of David Knopfler's song Mercenary Man that was used in Laser Mission which is unquestionably one of the best bad movies ever. I told him this on Twitter and then he started following me. Very kewl.

Pineapple and ham do not belong on pizza. The only acceptable pizza toppings are: pepperoni, sausage, ground beef (maybe), green peppers, and onions. And possibly a few other things I forgot. No pineapple though!
Offline
The REAL best pizza toppings are chicken, brie, cashews and cranberry sauce. It's messed up but works so well.

Also cassette tapes are the best for music sound quality. So warm. So good. Digital can suckit.
