Whilst doing some research on Ruvada's upcoming feature shoot, I had the good fortune to peruse playboy.com, which is actually kind of a great news and information website, modern, liberal and informative with a slightly illicit vibe. One of the articles on there was on the gender neutralising of sex toys:

I reckon it's worth a read! I hadn't thought of it in quite these terms before, but that Lelo Transformer is something special - who doesn't love a toy you can use on everyone's parts, regardless of the shape of them? Also, we have this movement to thank for the fact that vibrators don't all come in tacky, mainstream porno-style boxes anymore, and that we can choose colours besides pink and purple. I think we still have some progress to make in this arena, but I'm glad it's happening. Sex toys are just getting more and more normalised, and as they become more gender neutral, so too they become more stylish and sexy, adaptable to whoever wants to try them out, without embarrassment. Marketing is such a strong tool.
What do you guys think? Do you, or would you use sex toys more if they were marketing in a more gender neutral way - like sunglasses, for instance, or beach towels - just another accessory for anyone to buy?

I'm a guy who uses sex toys currently. I own a fleshlight and what some refer to as a "guybrator."
There is definitely more progress to be made. I still feel the stimga of owning a fleshlight. Honestly, 99% of it I feel comes from other men. I think it's part of this decidedly old-school mentality where its seen as bad to be a virgin; owning a fleshlight, to these men, implies the owner is a virgin/undesirable. I hear less talk about the "guybrator," but I feel like that type of toy is less in the spotlight. I don't think all men are like this, of course, but it does make me feel a little less open about discussing it in public, or even with certain friends.
I'd be willing to try a more gender neutral toy (so long as it does the job!). I'd definitely agree that there may be less stigma if sex toys moved into a design where any gender can enjoy them.

Sure, Viva! This is the "guybrator" I purchased...well, actually, I purchased an older model, but the concept is essentially the same. I think the page does a great job explaining how exactly it works - https://www.hotoctopuss.com/product/pul … essential/
As for my own personal experience with it? It's an interesting toy that can produce some awesome orgasms when I'm in the right mood. But, admittedly, its not as much of a game-changer for me as I was expecting it to be. I don't regret the purchase, but it's definitely my least used method of masturbation.

this is so cool looking. can you really come without using your hands?

Well, I often find I have to lightly hold it in place to get the job done. But lightly holding a thing is still pretty low effort for orgasming in my book, so I'm pretty okay with that!

Second the "guybrator" motion. And yes, with it I can come without using my hands if it's propped up with something, like maybe a pillow.

I have a lover that is realllllllly into my magic wand. It can be a real winner for men. Magnus isn't a fan, but J definitely is. A whole world of things that vibrate has been opening up for him & it's a real joy to be involved/witness.
Keep exploring guys, the sky is the limit!
