I found this site quite interesting; I expected more response. Perhaps I should include an actual link:

Re: OMGYES site

Really interesting site, there are others that offer similar in terms of educational content, but none of them have the explicit videos as demonstration.
Personally i'm sure that the videos would be a lot of help for some women (and offer some potentially exciting ideas for others!), but I wonder if from a male point of view, there is a chance that it'll be enjoyed for the "wrong reasons" (for lack of a better word)?
Out of interest, does anyone know if the videos actually feature "full on" masturbation, as in women masturbating to orgasm? Or is it simply a talk and small demonstration?
If feel if it is the former, the site risks slipping too much into the porn category, and people may start purchasing it for the arousal value, rather than as a great educational tool.

(I'm not a member, so i don't know what the full videos are like, just speculating!)

I'd love to hear from someone who is a member and can give some further insight into what is really offered.

Re: OMGYES site

Yeah, not having access to the full site held me back from replying as well. Has anyone bought a membership yet?

I think it's great concept, mostly because it encourages conversation around female pleasure. It makes me happy to see videos of women explaining how they like to masturbate. Hopefully this will help more women feel comfortable to do the same with their partners, and their partners will feel more comfortable listening, responding and working towards giving them more pleasure.

Although I haven't bought access to the full site, I have a few criticisms based on the free previews.

My first criticism is that the site focuses too much on physical technique and not enough on the other factors which contribute to pleasure, such as mood and partner communication. In my experience, even if I tell someone exactly how I want them to touch me, and they do it pretty well, if I'm not relaxed and aroused etc then it's unlikely that it will feel so good or make me orgasm.

Another criticism is that it's impossible to practice penetrative play using this technology, so it seems like they're just not going to mention that g-spot/cervical/anal play are all very important sources of female pleasure.

At this point in my life I've had sex with 13 women, and most of the time have had very frank and open conversations about how to please them beforehand. Every woman's sexual taste is so different, and I've learnt about more techniques than mentioned on OMGYES. So, learning and practicing these techniques is fun and cool, but I think the most important way to give a woman pleasure is to ask her what she wants and feels like at the time.

I can't think of anything wrong with men masturbating to videos of women explaining how they like to masturbate. The intention of the website is to help women achieve more sexual pleasure, so of course people are going to find that sexy.

Yeah, as far as guys getting off for all the wrong reasons, I'm pretty sure they would, as there is a specific fetish for every single part of a woman's body for us guys so yep, I'd say it's a given! But I can only speak for myself that when a woman is simply explaining/demonstrating her masturbatory techniques I really don't find it that sexy...

It's like watching a nude woman washing a car as there's no passion involved, and a nude woman's form while beautiful, is not enough for me as I spent too much time using it for reference in my artwork that it's become sort of clinical for me...

However, if she's in the passionate throes of pleasure and joy...well...;)

Re: OMGYES site

I'm so confused at why people think it's wrong for men to jerk off to videos of women explaining how they like to masturbate?! Can somebody please explain to me what is wrong with that?

Anyway, TZO2K16, I can relate to you on seeing bodies in a more clinical sense, not sexual in themselves but made sexual through the person's intentions/actions. I think that's a really healthy attitude - nudity is not always sexual.

What kind of artwork do you make? If you're comfortable sharing some here we'd all be interested in seeing it, though it's totally understandable if you'd rather not. I like life drawing myself, and did a little life modelling last year.

Thanks, unfortunately, I don't have a scanner so most of my traditional artwork will have to remain offline, however, I have getting into digital art and am currently warming up to my wacom and painting programs, I'll post some of my sketches soon enough...Otherwise, I have been doing a lot of fantasy 3d art and using tools such as DAZ Studio and the like...

Re: OMGYES site

TZO2K16 this tumblr has some photos what would be fun to use as figure references: http://analyticanatomy.tumblr.com/.

I like how hands are placed to make the body into strange and abstract shapes.

Re: OMGYES site

Laney,

Access to the full site probably would address some of the shortcomings that you've mentioned. Obviously, a free and open discussion with a partner is ideal, but this site does offer a starting point; it probably also brings up ideas that readers haven't considered.

There are twelve parts to the site this season: three of them discuss communication; the rest focus on physical aspects. There's quite an emphasis on communication, but it's difficult to present this in an on-screen demonstration.

There are three types of videos in the site: first where contributors described their experiences and approaches, second where they describe and demonstrate specific techniques they use for pleasure, and third with touchable screens showing the contributors vulvas. The contributors do not masturbate to orgasm when demonstrating their techniques; they just show where and how they like to be touched, without the necessary repetition.

The touch screens are the most distinctive aspect of the site; there are eleven touchable screens for nine types of techniques. The contributors show how and where they like to be touched and offer guidance as the reader tries the techniques on the screen. The screen is sensitive to location, speed, and pressure, and there's visual feedback from the images moving with the readers touch and verbal feedback from the contributors. The contributor's feedback is pretty detailed and delivered in an encouraging way; it's not particularly erotic: imagine your piano teacher's instruction and affirmation.

With one understated exception, the contributors do not reach orgasm in the touchscreen; they end the video when the reader has been on the right track for a sufficient length of time.

As for misuse of the site, the only danger is treating the touchscreen as a video game, seeing what one get get away with, intentionally disregarding the contributor's direction. (The consequences are sure to be less damaging than the real-life equivalent.)

My descriptions are a poor substitute for the site's features.
(But seriously, Feck can't afford $29 U.S. for an office subscription?)
