Hi lovely IFM members,

Lately the IFM forum has been particularly engaging and I've really enjoyed our discussions here. However, as of today I will be taking a month-long break from my position as hostess to go gallivanting around Europe. I'm pretty sure my curiosity will draw me back to check the forum every once in a while but I won't be around every day.

In my absence my lovely assistant Sondrine, who you may know as the winner of the IShotMyself Art Prize for March, will be stepping in to keep the party flowing. Hey guys, I'm back! I hope you all enjoyed yourselves while I was gone. Welcome to all the new users who joined in the month, and hi again to all the regular peeps . Are you all still here?

My holiday was great! I spent most of my time in Amsterdam, where I met some really lovely girls. One of them was an Aussie girl called Ella_E, who has some folios on IShotMyself and will make her debut on IFeelMyself on the 20th of September.

I spent most of my time walking around the city trying not to get hit by bicycles, going to museums, shopping, eating yummy food, lying in the sun, dancing at clubs, having sex, generally being hedonistic.

I also spent three days in Berlin for Berlin Atonal festival. It was held in a giant abandoned powerplant building called Kraftwerk (kraftwerk means powerplant in German) where the sound system and acoustics were AMAZING. The music was a mix of experimental, ambient, noise, industrial sounds and most were accompanied by video art on a huge vertical projection screen.

After the festival every night we would go to to techno clubs, so most of my time in Berlin was spent in environments like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJd7x8cRqbQ

But we did see the sun a little bit... here is me at a bookshop looking like a creep in 3D glasses.

I have been swamped at work, and the beginning of next year is going to be worse. Luckily, I always make wanking a priority so I have managed to carve out time for that.

Thanks for bringing back this topic - it just so happens I just got back from another little holiday. We went to real rural North East Victoria, about five hours' drive out of Melbourne. Real COUNTRY country, if you know what I mean. Red dirt, salt lakes, kangaroos jumping in front of your car, pubs which haven't changed since 1965. I unfortunately forgot to bring my camera, so I just took some photos on my iphone. Check it out!
