How do you use IFM? Poll for members!

Hey folks,
I'm a bit curious about how people use IFM.

Members, do you tend to watch every video? Or do you pick and choose? And if you choose, do you choose based on the screenshot of the video, or is there a different criteria (like perhaps playing the 1st few seconds, or having seen the preview, or the small screenshots that show who is coming up)?

I ask because I've always been curious, but also because the 1st video of my 2nd diary just went up. I think that it was such an amazing piece of editing by Aven and a pretty special video all around (if I do say so myself), but it didn't seem to get much action.

Hopefully you guys know me well enough by now that you understand I'm not fishing for compliments

I didn't like the first still my shoot was published with, and we've changed it now. I am curious if the film still has much to do with whether people watch videos?

If you do choose based on the still, I would love to know what kind of stills tend to grab your attention the most. Light scenes, dark scenes, explicit stills, facial expression, body pose, style/appearance of contributor, etc?

Would love some input here, even if you don't post in the forums often, thanks!!!

I pick and choose but usually get around to viewing most of the contributions. I go by the screen cap based on facial expression, style/appearance and tend toward the outdoor/abandoned location style. A colorful still will catch my eye quite often.
I won't always view or download in a series for no real reason. Often because of the time factor. I'm sure there are contributors whose vids I've yet to view or download. If so, it would be based on the screen cap not grabbing my attention, but there are vids that simply get put up when I'm away and it's only by scrolling back, I pick them up.

OMT; Aven will often use a lot of color in her work and it's easy to spot most of her unique stuff in the preview still. I don't pass on those.

I download everything once--twice if its from Viva--and watch them soon thereafter. Generally speaking the video diaries can get long and drawn out. So multiple locations is good, as is interlacing two video diary series.

For me personally, I am interested in seeing the contributors in the most honest way possible. As such I tend to only watch the "video diaries", the "home made", "Lucumbrations" and the "video profile" videos. And of those I watch every one.

I do end up discriminating on what I download, simply because I only have so much hard drive space (and lets be honest, if I were to download the entire IFM library I would have nothing but IFM content on my computer.) Most of my downloads consist of the older videos that I cannot stream, but have a desire to watch. There are exceptions to that rule, but very few (again, hard drive space being the issue.)

If I find I REALLY like a contributors home made/video diary contributions, I will then probably check out the studio shoots they have done and download their entire contribution history. I guess that mentally, I still associate the "studio" and "up close" segments with traditional pornography, something that over the years I have become quite disenchanted with. The whole reason I joined this site in the first place is because what turns me on is quite simply the female orgasm. I have found that more often than not I can actually tell when a woman is faking her orgasms, and on this site I have yet to recognize those signs on ANY of the videos.

While it is entirely possible that I am deluding myself in that belief, last I checked achieving and documenting that honest experience was a key part of the mission statement behind this site.

On a side note........

How was the flight Viva? Did you get to LA okay?

First of all,I look for the personalities who show up,like Chica,Kitkat and Liandra of the past,and Robyn and,yes,you Viva of the present;in short:do the girls arouse my attention and curiosity.

I look to the news videos every day or 2-3 days. Then I pck up those which, for certains reasons, seems to be more attractive for me. The I keep or delete the video, depending on differents factors : the female's appearance, the way she masturbates, moves, orgasms...so I can get a collection of veru différents videos. I download videos that catch my eye - either because the clip in the weekly preview looked interesting, because the woman is someone I know I like, or because the concept looks neat. Then I forget what video is what and watch something random on my TV via iTunes.

As I watch, I place videos in folders. Right now I have "1", "2", and "3" and "new".
1 = I find this video very arousing. Usually the women is making sounds all along the way and orgasm is very vocal - ak, annabellelee, missy_lee, kesia are examples.
2 = this video is a candidate for a 1, but just did not stir me fully.
3 = this video is not arousing for me and I will probably not watch it again.
new = everything else - newly downloaded - already watched, but not categorized, etc.

I will be at this forever just with videos I have been able to download in three months.

I usually download all new stuff and scan through it quickly later. I may edit them or just delete the ones I don't like. If it's marked "studio" I often skip it as those tend to be very dark with bad camera angles. When reviewing, I scroll through to find the orgasm. If there's no clitoral stimulation, badly faked or missing I delete it. Then I'll watch later.

Yes, I edit the movies myself. As with most men, my libido is much greater than my wife's but unlike most men, I take much longer than my wife. So the compromise is that I supplement with movies. I have some that I like in their entirety and usually watch one of those first and then watch a collage. In the collage I edit out anything my wife would find offensive, not that she paying much attention, edit out all the warm up, and edit out things I find offensive.

I generally download all the new contributions at the lowest resolution, and the ones that really flip my switch I go back and download the HD version.

The ones I keep for offline viewing, I have them sorted into folders based on specific attributes I particularly like. That's a tough call sometimes, since a whole bunch of contributions have two or three (or more) of those things. I have one folder named "BotB" (best of the best) for my all-time favorites, regardless of what 'category' I'd put them in.

One of these days I'm going to sit down with some video editing software and build my own personal IFM showreels.

Hey I'm pretty new on this site. Masturbation is a really personal and intimate thing, so for me I like to see a still of someone's face first usually. For the stills, facial expressions are a big draw personally, usually something light and inviting id what will bring me in. I'll click through and watch their profile video and a dairy or two first most likely. To get a good feel for the person behind the camera, the personal touch is something this website has that others lack. If I feel like I like the contributor I know I'm going to enjoy the content a whole lot more.

I'm pretty choosy and don't have much time to watch porn, I do a lot of shift work and the like, so yeah I definitely get favorites quickly and look at a select few people. Great question, Viva. Suffice it to say that...IFM is a truly remarkable place, where beauty and candor is shared on a daily basis.
